Artificial intelligence
Financial markets produce more data every day than a person could read in a lifetime. Senerum's AI engine exists to read it anyway: continuously, consistently and without sentiment. This page explains what the technology is, how it works, what it analyses, and the limits we state openly.

1. The AI engine of the platform
The engine is a set of analytical models that turn raw market data into structured findings and, where strategies call for it, into executed trades under your rules. Its role is support, not replacement: it extends your attention across thousands of instruments and every hour of the day, but the objectives, exposure limits and risk settings are yours, agreed with your personal manager.
We describe it plainly because the phrase "AI" invites either worship or suspicion, and both are unhelpful. It is not a mind and it is not a gimmick. It is pattern-recognition machinery applied to price, volume and volatility data, executing rules with a consistency people cannot match, including at 4 a.m. on a Sunday.
2. How the technology works
Data collection
Market data flows in continuously from the exchanges and venues the platform monitors, across assets and timeframes.
Intelligent processing
Models clean, cross-reference and analyse the stream: trends, volumes, volatility, correlations and repeating micro-patterns.
Continuous monitoring
The watch never stops, including nights and weekends, with a volatility brake that can pause activity when conditions turn disorderly.
Structured presentation
Findings reach you as alerts, dashboard states and monthly plain-English statements: what was done, why, and what it cost.
3. What the AI analyses
| Input | What the engine extracts |
|---|---|
| Price movement | Trend direction, range breaks, momentum shifts across horizons |
| Trading volumes | Activity that confirms or contradicts price moves |
| Volatility | Changing risk conditions and the boundaries between calm and disorderly markets |
| Trends | Persistence and exhaustion of directional moves |
| Historical dynamics | How similar conditions resolved before, as context rather than prophecy |
| Market-regime changes | Shifts in the overall behaviour of assets that alter which strategies are appropriate |
Historical analysis deserves an honest note: the past describes what has happened, not what will happen. The engine uses history to weigh probabilities, and probabilities sometimes resolve against the favoured outcome.
4. Advantages
Speed
Data is processed the moment it arrives; reaction times are measured in fractions of a second, not in "I'll look tonight".
Constant monitoring
Nights, weekends and holidays are covered without anyone losing sleep, which matters most in markets that never close.
Consistency
The same conditions produce the same response, every time, without fatigue, boredom or attachment to yesterday's position.
Time back
Hours that would go on chart-watching are returned to you; you make the decisions that need judgement.
Current information
Findings update continuously, so you are never acting on last week's picture of the market.
For beginners and veterans
New users get an analyst they can interrogate through their manager; experienced users get coverage and discipline.
5. Who it suits
If you have limited time, the engine is the difference between having market coverage and having market opinions. If you are cautious, the appeal is control: exposure limits, pause rules and monthly statements mean automation with the brakes reachable. If you are experienced, the value is breadth and discipline: no human watches every sterling pair, gold and the major digital assets at once, and no human applies rules without exception for years.
It suits you less if what you want is a guarantee. There isn't one, from us or from anyone honest. The engine manages analysis and execution; risk remains a property of markets, not a bug the software can patch.
6. Using the AI, step by step
Register

Activate
Verification, plan choice from From £200 and a pound-denominated deposit.
Meet the tools
Your manager walks you through settings, alerts and statements until you could explain them to someone else.
Monitor the market
The engine watches; you read the alerts, review statements and adjust settings as your situation changes.
7. An example scenario
A simplified, illustrative example of how the technology responds. Suppose a strategy watches a major digital asset whose price has drifted calmly for two weeks. Overnight, volume doubles and the price breaks the top of its range. A human trader asleep in Croydon sees nothing; the engine sees the break, the volume confirmation and rising volatility within seconds.
Under its rules, several things can happen. If the strategy's conditions for entry are met and exposure limits allow, a position is opened at a size the rules prescribe, with the exit levels decided at entry, not improvised later. If volatility has risen beyond the settings' threshold, the volatility brake may instead pause new activity and send you an alert: conditions have changed character, and the calm-market rules no longer apply. Either path is decided by the settings you agreed, applied without hesitation, at an hour no one was watching.
What the example deliberately does not show is a guaranteed profit. The break might reverse immediately, slippage might worsen the entry, and the position might be closed at a loss exactly by the rules. The engine's promise is disciplined responsiveness, not foresight.
8. The limits we state openly
The engine is a model, and models have edges. It can be wrong; it will produce losing periods; it cannot anticipate events with no precedent in its data; and it cannot decide for you what level of loss is acceptable in your life. That last judgement stays with you, supported by your manager. Anyone selling automation without these caveats is selling certainty that does not exist, and the risk disclosure is the companion document to this page.
9. FAQ
Yes, within the strategy rules you set: instruments, exposure, entry and exit conditions, and pause levels. You can also run analysis-only mode without automated execution.
No. No algorithm guarantees outcomes, and strategies can and do lose money. Guarantees of profit are a warning sign wherever you hear them.
Continuously. Digital markets never close, and stock-market data is monitored around the clock too.
Yes. The platform was designed for that case: your manager explains every setting, and the statements teach you what the engine is doing.
Both. See the AI-powered stocks and cryptocurrencies pages for each market's detail.
