Getting started
This guide walks you from your first visit to a running account: registration, the manager's call, connecting to the market, setting your analysis and managing everything from the dashboard. Follow it in order and you will be set up within a day, without needing a single term of trading jargon.
1. Introduction
Senerum is built so that a person who has never traded can reach a working, monitored account without studying markets first. The platform does the watching; you make a small number of clear decisions, and a personal manager sits alongside each of them. After finishing this guide you will be able to register, complete verification, fund your account in pounds, connect the platform to the market, choose strategy settings you understand, and read the dashboard well enough to know what your money is doing.
Nothing here obliges you to deposit. Registration is free, and the account remains open and empty until you decide otherwise.
2. Step 1: Registering your account
Open the registration form, on the home page or the account page, and enter your full name, email address and telephone number. Choose a password you have not used anywhere else; a password manager is the easiest way to have one for every site. Confirm your email when the verification message arrives, which activates the account shell.
Before you go further, turn on two-step verification in your security settings. It takes two minutes: scan the on-screen code with your phone's authenticator app, enter the six-digit code it shows, and store the backup codes somewhere safe and offline. From that moment a stolen password alone cannot open your account.
Use a phone number and email you genuinely check: the manager's call, security alerts and withdrawal confirmations all arrive there.
3. Step 2: The manager's call and funding
Within 24 hours of registering, a personal manager calls you. The call has three purposes: verifying you are you, explaining how the platform will handle your money, and answering every question you have before any deposit. Nothing is deducted or charged on that call, and no one will press you to decide on the spot.
Identity verification (KYC) follows: you upload a photographic identity document, a passport or UK driving licence, and a proof of address such as a recent bank statement. Most checks clear within minutes; anything needing manual review is usually done within one to three business days. Trading activates only after verification, which is deliberate: it is what stops strangers from moving your money.
When you are ready to fund, deposits are free in pounds by Faster Payments bank transfer, VISA or Debit Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Card and wallet deposits land instantly; Faster Payments normally arrives within seconds and always within 24 hours. The entry point for the Basic plan is From £200; only ever deposit money you could afford to lose, for the reasons set out in the risk disclosure.
4. Step 3: Connecting and configuring your analysis
The platform reaches the market through connections to the exchanges where liquidity is monitored, such as Binance, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin, Bitget and Crypto.com. Your manager sets up the connection with you on a short call. Where an API key is involved, it is created with the narrowest permissions the task needs: market data and trading, with withdrawal rights deliberately separated or withheld wherever the exchange supports it.
Configuration then comes down to a few plain choices:
- Instruments: which markets to watch, sterling pairs, gold, major digital assets, chosen with your manager.
- Exposure: how much of your balance a strategy may use, and the maximum share in any single position.
- Risk settings: the drawdown level at which the platform pauses and asks you rather than continuing.
- Notifications: email alerts for entries, exits, pauses and unusual account events, so the platform tells you things before you have to ask.
You can start with a ready-made strategy prepared by experienced traders and adjust later, or set your own parameters from the beginning. Either way, ask your manager to explain the settings until you could describe them to someone else; a setting you cannot explain is a setting you should not fund.
5. Step 4: The dashboard and everyday management
The dashboard is your cockpit, and it is designed to answer four questions at a glance: what the strategies are doing, what the current balance is, what happened recently and what needs your decision. Balances and open positions update continuously; the activity feed lists entries, exits and pauses with times and prices; and the statements area holds your monthly reports, written in plain English with every fee shown on its own line.
Everyday management is light: read the alerts, skim the monthly statement, and review settings with your manager each quarter. When you want funds back, request a withdrawal from the same screen; Faster Payments normally arrives within 24 hours, cards take 1 to 5 business days, and the withdrawal policy explains every rule in between.
6. Important notes
No part of the platform guarantees profit. Automated strategies can and do lose money, sometimes for extended periods, and the volatility brake limits exposure rather than loss. Trading is risk-bearing by nature: only deposit money whose total loss would not change your life, and treat every projection, including the calculator's illustrative figures, as an example rather than a forecast.
Decisions remain yours. The platform executes rules; it does not take responsibility for your choices off you. That is what the manager, the statements and this guide are for: keeping you in command of an automated process, not the other way round.
